Rules for the Amsterdam Tournament
Duration of matches:
1x25 minutes. Finals 2x15 minutes.
Scoring:
· 3 points for a win
· 1 point for a draw
· 0 points for loss
When two teams finish with the same number of points in the group, the following will be considered:
1. Head to head result
2. Matches won
3. Goal difference
4. The number of goals scored
5. Goal ratio
If that is also inconclusive, then penalty kicks will be taken. In all matches where a winner is required, 3 penalty kicks will be taken in the event of a tie to determine a winner. So no extra time will be played.
Yellow and Red Cards:
· 1st yellow card: the player receives a time penalty of 5 minutes.
· 2nd yellow card in the same match: the player is disqualified for the remainder of that match and may not be substituted.
· Direct red card: the player is excluded from the next match, unless the organization determines that the offense is so gross or unsportsmanlike that several matches will follow suspension.
Protests:
The referees decision in all matters concerning points of play shall be final and binding, therefore protests in this area are not accepted. All other protests should be made only by the responsible team leader to the tournament committee no later than 15 minutes after the match. The tournament committee's decision on all protests is final and binding. The tournament committee also decides in cases not foreseen in these tournament rules.
MO/7, M35/7 and WO/7 teams play on a half field 7 v 7 with a referee.
· Ball over the touch line: dribble, how it is done internationally.
· Ball over the goal line: taken from the ground within the goalkeeper area by dribbling, passing
or shooting the ball.
· Back pass: may not be taken into the hands by the goalkeeper.
· Offside: these groups (MO/7, M35/7 and WO/7) are played without offside.
· Corner: taken from the corner arc.
· Penalty kick: taken 8 meters from goal.
· Free kicks are direct.
Regulations MO (11x11):
All matches are played on an “normal’ sized pitch with offside rules. Each team must designate one person to act as linesman.
